Course Title: English Grammar Foundations: Part 1

Welcome to “English Grammar Foundations: Part 1”! This course is designed to help you build a strong and confident command of the English language. We’ll start with the basics and move towards more advanced communication skills, making learning easy and fun.

This course has 5 exciting modules:

Module 1: Building Strong Sentences

In this module, you’ll learn about the important Helping Verbs that support main verbs. You’ll understand how to Frame Sentences clearly and correctly. Discover how to create both Positive and Negative Sentences. We’ll also cover Subject and Verb Agreement to make sure your sentences are always grammatically sound. This module ends with a Quiz to check your understanding and a Live Session for any questions you have.

Module 2: Asking Questions & Conversing

This module focuses on Question Formation – how to ask different types of questions in English. You’ll explore Different Types of Sentences and Conversions to add variety to your speaking and writing. We’ll then practice Simple Conversations to help you use what you’ve learned in real-life situations. A Quiz will help you review your progress.

Module 3: Mastering Tenses for Life

Dive deep into the 12 Tenses of English grammar. You’ll learn not just the rules, but also how to use them in everyday life, making your communication precise and natural.

Module 4: Expanding Your Vocabulary

This Vocabulary Zone module is all about growing your word power. You’ll learn new words and phrases to express yourself more effectively and understand others better.

Module 5: Describing & Sharing Your Voice

The final module helps you describe the world around you with Scene Description and Picture Description. You’ll also learn the art of Story Telling. Gain confidence in Sharing Your Own Experiences & Opinions clearly and engagingly.

Course Content

Module : 1
Helping verbs, also known as auxiliary verbs, are words that "help" the main verb in a sentence. They add important meaning, such as indicating the time of an action (past, present, future), ability, possibility, or obligation. The most common helping verbs are forms of **be** (am, is, are, was, were, will be), **do** (do, does, did), and **have** (have, has, had). They cannot stand alone as the main verb.
